A Coast Running Out of Water

Newsletter

Follow the writing, chapter by chapter

A short, occasional email about the making of A Coast Running Out of Water — no countdown, no sales pitch, just real news as the manuscript earns it.

What you get

Three things, and nothing else

Progress, not hype

Word when a chapter actually moves

An occasional note when a chapter clears a real stage — draft to reviewed, or a load-bearing figure finally pinned down in the facts register — not a manufactured weekly update.

The long view

What the book is turning into

Occasional background on the writing itself — how the causal braid of rock, drought, gradient and clearing is coming together, and what's still being checked before any chapter is called final.

First word on publication

One email when it's ready

The full first draft of all eighteen chapters is written. When the book is actually ready to read, you'll hear it here first — before anywhere else.

Where things stand. The full first draft is complete, but the manuscript is still being audited chapter by chapter against a canonical facts register, and it is not yet published or for sale. This list exists to tell you honestly when that changes — nothing more.
